Hannah Kate Stallo is a self published author living in New Orleans, Louisiana. She developed a passion for writing, and the city, at a very early age. Stallo published her first novel, The Deep Dark River during her senior year of college, as an homage to Southern folklore, humor, and storytelling. She takes enormous pride in depicting the colorful mythos of the city of New Orleans, and strives to portray its ability to cast characters both legendary and ordinary, who transcend fiction. 

Stallo seeks to connect readers to the magic of New Orleans by providing a whimsical and otherworldly perspective that locals immediately resonate with, and those new to the city will grow to appreciate. Stallo developed an online presence on TikTok, where she is easily recognized by her The Deep Dark River canonically accurate sunhat, and uniquely comedic storytelling style.
