Creatures like the rougarou, haints, and the cauchemar emerge from the mystique of South Louisiana folklore to haunt the streets of New Orleans. Of course, a few bygone folktales shouldn't stand a chance against river gods, a relentless witch, and a very, very determined Midwestern runaway...right?
